The United Schutzhund Clubs of America (USA) hosted the first Handler Owner Trained Schutzhund competition exclusively for competitors who have solely trained and handle their dogs. Everyone who is qualified to participate in the H.O.T. is already a winner because they did it all start to finish with their dogs. There undoubtedly is a source of pride and satisfaction in training and handling your dog from start to finish in this sport. We congratulate all who competed in this event and commend you on your accomplishments.

Seagoville Woking Dog Club had two entries in the first annual H.O.T. trial held in January of 2000 outside of Austin, Texas. Keith Ivery competed with his Rottweiler, "Malachi MacDadd McClenter, BH, SchH III" and Angel Ayala competed with his German Shepherd "Satch Van't Enclavehof, BH, SchH III."

Seagoville Working Dog Club would like to thank all its members who went out to support our region and our club in this event through their attendence. We especially thank Angel and Keith and their outstanding canine companions for representing our club in this historical event. A special thank you to Chris Webber for the fantastic photo coverage of the event and "Our Guys".
